UPDATE: A day after The Athletic’s story, Showtime Sports President Stephen Espinoza said on the SI Boxing With Chris Mannix podcast that June 5 isn’t and “never has been” the date of the match. Espinoza, though, said he “still” expects the fight will take place at some point.
